Lusso Kitchen Appointed as Dining Operator for Galuwa Recreation Centre
Lusso Kitchen is proud to announce its appointment as the dining operator for Galuwa Recreation Centre’s new food and beverage venue, which will officially be known as ‘Galuwa Dining’.
Set to open in Spring 2026, Galuwa Dining will deliver a diverse hospitality offering. The venue will feature relaxed dining throughout the day, alongside grab-and-go options with quality coffee, a contemporary bar and bistro experience, a tapas and cocktail offering, and dedicated function spaces.
The venue will cater to everyday dining, social drinks and special celebrations, offering something for a range of occasions.
Directors Malek Aani and Nabil Bisher said Galuwa Dining represents an exciting opportunity to introduce a fresh hospitality experience to the area.
“This is a new space with its own identity and atmosphere. Designed by an award-winning architect, Galuwa Dining will bring a fresh look and energy to the area while expanding what’s on offer for the community.
“Our vision is to create a welcoming destination that complements what’s already here, an all-round dining and social experience where people can gather, connect and enjoy quality hospitality.”
In addition to its daily dining and bar offering, Galuwa Dining will feature versatile function spaces suited to events of varying sizes, from private celebrations, school and community events to corporate functions and milestone occasions. The venue is expected to accommodate up to 300 guests seated and 500 standing, with flexible configurations allowing the space to be divided for intimate events or fully opened for larger functions. An upstairs sound proof mezzanine level overlooking the basketball courts will also be available, providing an additional event space with a unique vantage point within the centre.

Galuwa Recreation Centre is a state-of-the-art multi-purpose recreation and community facility, servicing the local community in Lane Cove as well as the wider region. Developed to support a growing population, the centre comprises the only indoor sporting courts in the area, outdoor courts, bookable event spaces, a pro shop and golf course, and soon, a food and beverage facility. Galuwa is fast becoming a community hub for all ages.
